DIY Teacup Candle ~ Collab with TheTasLifestyle

Hello!

This is a very exciting blog post to write not only because I'm showing you guys a very cute DIY but because this is a collaboration with the blogger TheTasLifestyle.
I'm making a DIY Teacup Candle and she is making a DIY Candle Holder!
Make sure that you check out Tas's blog because she is quite new to the blogging world and deserves followers! Click here to check out her blog.
And now to the DIY...
You will need:
Wax (in the form of a candle or wax for crafts)
Candle Wicks
Teacups
A saucepan
A glass bowl
Something to stir with (e.g  spoon, skewer)
Hot glue gun
Pencil
Pour boiling water into the saucepan and place the glass bowl inside.

Turn the heat up and put some wax into the glass bowl. I used two of the candles shown in the picture per candle but it depends on how big your cup is.

While your wax is melting, start to put wicks in your candles by hot glueing the wick to the bottom of the cup. Tie the top of the wick to a pencil and lie it on the rim for stability.

When the wax is melted proceed to pour the wax into your teacup, making sure to keep the wick steady (before this step I added lavender petals but that's totally optional).

Once the wax has set, take away the pencil and snip the wick to the right length.

    And that's it!
So simple but pretty! If you tried this DIY out, send me a pic on Twitter.
Be sure to check out TheTasLifestyle!
    Have a wonderful day!

BareMinerals Marvellous Moxie Lipgloss Review and Swatches

    Hello!
I hope you are having a great day.
In this post I will review the BareMinerals Marvellous Moxie lipglosses. These were given to me by my wonderful American relatives (Hey!).
The mini set I received has five wearable shades that range from peachy nudes to sparkly purples.
All, but one, of these glosses is sparkly. The bright pink shade, Hot Shot, has no glitter. The rest have acceptable amounts of sparkle.
They are moderately sticky but it is surprisingly bearable. In my opinion, the stickiness wears away but the colour remains. I'll talk about the longevity of this product later in this post.
This set included the shades Show Off, Hot Shot, Spark Plug, Maverick and Daredevil.
Show Off is a light pinky peachy nude. It gives less colour and more off a shimmer to the lips. It's a great option if you're wanting a subtle gloss.
Hot Shot on its own would add a subtle pop of colour to a natural makeup look. It is a bright pink shade that looks dainty on the lips.
Spark Plug is a shimmery brown nude. Unlike Maverick, the glitter is silver. This is a natural looking nude.
Maverick is my favourite lipgloss in the set. It's a slightly darker nude than Spark Plug and has gold glitter. It's so pretty!
Daredevil is a purple lipgloss with purple glitter running through. Daredevil has the most glitter. This lipgloss tends to apply unevenly. Pigment clumps to the lips in different places and it is very difficult to even it out.
But how long do they last?
I wore Maverick for a day to test it's longevity. It survived 4 hours before it wore off which is quite good for a lipgloss.
Although these are sticky,  I absolutely adore them! I would advise everyone to buy one of these.
    Bye!
    Clare
